Machine Set Up

Mancan Staffing has partnered with a Mentor Manufacturing Company is in need of candidate to set up, edit, and operate CNC lathes. Candidate does not need to have programming experience but must have editing experience. Looking for candidates with big aspirations.
Hiring for 1st shift working from 7am-3:30pm.
Temp-Permanent position for the right candidate. $17-$19/HR based upon experience.

Responsibilities include:
Set up machinery
Operate equipment/machinery
Inspect product visually or using a tape measure, caliper or fixtures
Monitor and report operating and quality records
Maintain and report operating and quality records
May set up equipment and operate it
Set up CNC lathes
Edit CNC lathes
Operate CNC lathes

Performance Measures:
Quality
Productivity
Rework
Safety
Attendance

Technical Skill Requirements:
Machine-specific knowledge, operations, capabilities, light maintenance, safety requirements
Product quality standards
Ability to follow demonstrated or written work instructions
Reading production paperwork

Physical Skill Requirements:
Ability to learn and perform multiple manufacturing tasks
Trouble shooting/problem solving
Continuous standing
Occasional pushing, pulling, bending, stooping
Occasional lifting from 10 50 pounds
Experience/Education/Certification Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
2 years of manufacturing work experience preferred
