Position Overview

Our organization’s esteemed Social Work Emergency Services team addresses social challenges and needs within the Emergency Department and across inpatient services.

Primary Responsibilities

• Delivering clinical social work support to aid patients and their families in navigating personal, familial, medical, and environmental challenges.
• Conducting psychosocial evaluations and risk assessments, diagnosing issues, and formulating as well as executing intervention and treatment strategies.
• Engaging in the planning and execution of discharge and outpatient service strategies, collaborating with healthcare professionals and community organizations to ensure effective treatment and service delivery.

Essential QualificationsEducation

• Master’s degree in social work.

Experience

• Demonstrated clinical expertise and familiarity with various therapeutic approaches.
• Prior experience in medical or hospital social work is preferred.
• Individuals from diverse backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
• Proficiency in Spanish is advantageous.

Licensure/Certifications

• LCSW certification in Massachusetts is required; LICSW certification is preferred.

Additional Information

New hires will receive a sign-on bonus of $5,000!

This role involves working four 10-hour shifts from 1:00 PM to 11:30 PM.
