Quick Facts Location: 3000 32nd Avenue South, Fargo, ND 58103 Start Date: 07/30/2026 Shift: 24-hour shifts (prefer weekdays), 2-3 shifts/month Hours/week: Approximately 24 hours/week Employment Type: Locum Licensure/Certs: OB ABMS or AOA certified, comfortable working with Midwife, Epic experience preferred Experience: Experience with VBACs, C-sections, and labor/delivery/postpartum care preferred Pay & Benefits Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (note: this appears to be a placeholder; pay package discussed upon application) Benefits include: Competitive pay packages Weekly pay schedule via direct deposit Comprehensive medical benefits (W-2) Robust referral bonus program Paid sick time in accordance with applicable laws Licensure, certification, travel, and other reimbursements when applicable 24/7 dedicated team support throughout your assignment What You’ll Do Provide labor, delivery, and postpartum care in a busy hospital environment with 16 rooms and one OB dedicated OR Conduct approximately 65% of all deliveries, equating to about 120 deliveries per month Perform C-sections and manage VBACs with confidence Work collaboratively with midwives and healthcare team members Ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety during labor and delivery Follow hospital protocols and utilize Epic EMR system (preferred) Maintain high-quality patient care with flexible scheduling and timely response to calls Stay at a hotel until called in, with a brief orientation period (not exceeding 60% of hourly rate) What You Need Required: OB ABMS or AOA board certification Comfort working with midwives and managing labor/delivery Experience with VBACs and C-sections Excellent communication and teamwork skills Preferred: Epic EMR experience About the Assignment Join a reputable hospital in Fargo, ND, expanding access to quality obstetric care.
