Job Title: Wellness Nurse (LPN/RN)

Employment Type: Part-Time Overnight RN/LPN Wellness Nurse

Salary Range: Starting at $39 per hour plus overnight stipend

Position Overview

The Wellness Nurse (Registered Nurse) plays a crucial role in supporting the Resident Services Director with the effective implementation, delivery, and coordination of Resident Care Services within the community.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee the associates in the Resident Services Department, including Resident Services Assistants (C.A.s).
  • Assist in managing the medication program and support residents with self-administration of their medications.
  • Foster positive relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare providers.
  • Report any significant incidents or changes in residents' needs to the Executive Director or Resident Services Director.
  • Help complete resident assessments and develop service plans.
  • Support the Resident Services Director in recruitment and performance management within the department.
  • Participate in the training and orientation of new associates.
  • Engage in scheduled in-service training programs and associate meetings.
  • Assist with the scheduling and staffing of Resident Services Assistants as required.
  • Provide coaching and mentorship to associates in the Resident Services Department as needed.
  • Support residents and their families to ensure a high level of satisfaction.
  • Supervise RSA staff during the provision of care.
Qualifications
  • Must hold a valid RN or LPN license in the state of Massachusetts.
  • Experience in assisted living or long-term care environments is preferred.
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certification is required.
  • Availability for flexible shifts.
