Insight Global's client is a rapidly expanding, full-service residential solar company with a strong nationwide presence. We are currently seeking Licensed Electricians to install, maintain, and repair electrical power, communications, lighting, and control systems for various projects in the solar installation process.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Complete projects within established policies and procedures
- Complete projects within time frames and budgets
- Maintain high levels of quality assurance and quality control with an emphasis on crew safety
- Assemble the solar array racking, properly seal all roof penetrations, and install all relative equipment
- MSP Rebuilds & Upgrades
- Responsible for the groundwork of a solar installation which includes the connection to the MSP
- Diagnose and troubleshoot system malfunctions and operational issues
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Ability to read blueprints
- Extensive knowledge of electrical systems and wiring
- Ability to use hand tools and power tools
- Proficient in the use of test meters and other diagnostic equipment
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Education and Experience:
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Solar or relevant experience is preferred
Driving Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Must have a clean driving record as determined by a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) check
Work Environment:
- PV installation is done outdoors. Installers work on rooftops but also sometimes work in attics and crawl spaces to connect panels to the electrical grid.
- PV installers work as part of a team and may require the help of technicians and electricians.
