Warehouse General Laborer

Our client is a logistics warehouse in Richmond, IL. They are looking for General Laborers and Pallet Sorters on 1st and 2nd shift!

Pay starts at $18/hour on 1st shift and $19/hour on 2nd shift.

1st shift hours are 5:30am-1:45pm Monday through Friday

2nd shift hours are 2pm-12:15am Monday through Thursday

These are temp to permanent positions.

The pallet sorter is responsible for:

• Quickly and accurately sort and organize wooden pallets that are received from various vendors.
• Pick up and place thousands of pallets per day that weight anywhere from 50 to 100 lbs.
• Cross train in other areas to increase utilization and skillset

The requirements of the pallet sorters are:

• Must follow all safety practices and procedures at all times
• Able to use and read a tape measure
• Able to take instructions and learn on the job
• Must wear steel or composite toe protective work shoes
• Must comply with pre-employment drug test
