GI Hospitalist Position Available with Established GI Program in South Carolina

We are excited to announce an opening for a board-certified or board-eligible Gastroenterologist to join our established GI program in South Carolina. This is an inpatient-only position with a schedule of 7 days on and 7 days off, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.
Position OverviewThe selected physician will engage in inpatient care every other week, from Monday to Monday, focusing solely on hospital cases and procedures. This role will enhance our well-regarded General and Advanced GI program located in Florence, SC. Our organization serves as the primary provider of advanced and general gastroenterology services for over 1 million patients across the Midlands to the Coast of North and South Carolina.
Facilities and Support- State-of-the-Art Facilities: Our expansive Endoscopy lab is equipped with numerous general and advanced procedure rooms, supported by dedicated Anesthesiologists and CRNAs.
- Dedicated GI Space: We offer specialized GI facilities in the operating room.
- Comprehensive Support: Benefit from 8 Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) available for both hospital and office support 7 days a week, with APPs handling first call duties.
- Locum Coverage: Enjoy locum coverage for most weekends and holidays, ensuring a manageable workload.
- Physician-Led Practice: Join a collaborative environment led by experienced physicians.
This role entails providing 7 days of inpatient services, with 10 hours spent on-site and an additional 14 hours of unrestricted call coverage each day. This is an excellent opportunity for those looking to focus exclusively on inpatient care, including hospital patients and emergency room consultations.
