Lubrication Pump Tester

Job Title: Lubrication Pump Tester Duration: Direct Hire Payrate : $22/hr. - $28/hr. with full benefits Shift: 1st shift (7am -3:30pm) Job Description: Aerospace team and help develop reliable, innovative fuel system technologies that shape the future of aviation. In this role, you will assemble and test mechanical pumps and related components to customer, engineering, and quality requirements in an AS9100 manufacturing environment. Responsibilities: Perform moderate to complex mechanical assembly and testing using hand/power tools and test equipment. Interpret blueprints, engineering orders, assembly routes, test specifications, and quality requirements. Analyze test data, identify malfunctions, and perform rework as required. Perform preventative maintenance and ensure test equipment remains calibrated. Support subassembly, lockwiring, and final detailing activities as needed. Participate in Lean, 5S, safety, and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain a clean, FOD-free work environment and follow all PPE and safety requirements. May assist in training less-experienced team members. Qualifications: Strong mechanical aptitude and reasoning skills. 2+ years of related assembly/test experience in a manufacturing environment. Aerospace, automotive, or mechanical manufacturing experience preferred. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation. Basic math, computer, verbal, and written communication skills. Strong teamwork and interpersonal skills. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods. Willingness to work in a test-room environment with required PPE and exposure to jet oil.
