• Lovelace Medical Center is an acute care facility with 263 licensed beds, offering a wide range of services including 24/7 emergency care, surgical procedures, non-invasive robotic spine surgery, stroke treatment, as well as radiology and oncology services.

• Deliver professional nursing care to patients with diverse diagnoses, adhering to established nursing care standards.
• Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating care for patients, particularly in situations that may lead to a crisis.
• Act as a team leader during patient emergencies.
• In high-acuity or crisis scenarios, may serve as a staff RN in the ICU, ED, or other designated areas as needed.
• Assist with the admission and discharge processes, ensuring efficient patient flow and handling necessary paperwork.

Essential Job Requirements:

• Associate’s Degree or Nursing Diploma.
• Current NM Nursing license or NM compact license (to be obtained within 90 days of hire).
• BLS certification must be acquired within 14 days of hire or transfer into the position, prior to providing direct patient care.
• ACLS and PALS certifications.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing.
• At least 1 year of nursing experience.
