The Role\n
\nWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Forklift Engineer to join our clients growing service team. You will be responsible for the maintenance, servicing, fault diagnosis and repair of a wide range of forklift trucks and materials handling equipment, both in the workshop and at customer sites.\n
\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on engineer who takes pride in delivering high-quality service and building strong customer relationships.\n
Key Responsibilities\n
\nService, maintain and repair forklift trucks (diesel, LPG and electric)\n
\nDiagnose mechanical, hydraulic and electrical faults\n
\nCarry out LOLER inspections (where qualified)\n
\nComplete service reports and documentation accurately\n
\nProvide a high level of customer service on site\n
\nWork efficiently to agreed schedules and response times\n
Skills & Experience Required\n
\nProven experience as a Forklift Engineer or Plant/Materials Handling Engineer\n
\nStrong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills\n
\nExperience with hydraulic systems\n
\nAbility to work independently and manage workload\n
\nGood communication and customer-facing skills\n
\nFull UK driving licence\n
Desirable (but not essential)\n
\nExperience across multiple forklift brands\n
\nPrevious field service experience\n
