Finance Manager

FINANCE MANAGER — PRIDE PARK, DERBY — UP TO £50,000

A well-established, growing organisation in the care sector is looking for a Finance Manager to take ownership of month end and day-to-day finance. This is a hands-on role with real scope to shape how the finance function runs.

THE ROLEYou'll lead on month-end reporting for the senior team, then keep the day-to-day finance function running accurately and on time.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepare monthly management accounts — P&L, balance sheet, cash flow and commentary
\n
• Support budgeting, forecasting and year-end accounts alongside external accountants
\n
• Manage day-to-day finance, including bank, supplier and customer reconciliations
\n
• Oversee payroll, purchase ledger, sales ledger and credit control
\n
• Monitor cash flow and aged debt
\n

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

\n
• ACCA, CIMA, ACA or AAT Level 4 qualified
\n
• Experience in a Finance Manager or Management Accountant role
\n
• Confident producing management accounts and running month end independently
\n
• Strong Excel skills; Xero experience an advantage
\n
