Job Description
FindCore are thrilled to be assisting a specialist UK manufacturer of equipment with the recruitment of a Mechanical Service Engineer.
\nPermanent position. The role will be based from the company’s Holywell site and will involve travelling to customer locations to service, maintain and repair industrial machinery.
\nSalary
\nTypical annual earnings of £45,000–£60,000, depending on experience, hourly rate and overtime also available

Key Responsibilities
\n- \n
- Attend customer sites to service, maintain and repair equipment. \n
- Diagnose and resolve mechanical and basic electrical breakdowns. \n
- Carry out machine examinations and provide clear condition reports. \n
- Complete repair, renewal and general mechanical fitting work. \n
- Identify faults and provide practical solutions to minimise downtime. \n
- Recommend opportunities to improve machinery productivity and efficiency. \n
- Communicate professionally with customers and internal engineering teams. \n
- Maintain high standards of safety, quality and workmanship. \n
Skills & Experience
\n- \n
- Strong mechanical engineering, maintenance or service engineering background. \n
- Hands-on experience with industrial machinery or heavy engineering equipment. \n
- Good mechanical fitting and fault-finding ability. \n
- Basic electrical knowledge. \n
- Machining or fabrication experience would be advantageous. \n
- Confident diagnosing breakdowns in a customer-facing environment. \n
- Flexible approach to working hours, travel and overnight stays. \n
- Full UK driving licence. \n
