This role offers exposure to a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, acting for businesses and employers across a variety of sectors.

The Role

You will advise employer clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including:

  • Employment contracts, policies and procedures
  • \n
  • Disciplinary and grievance matters
  • \n
  • Redundancies and restructures
  • \n
  • Settlement agreements
  • \n
  • TUPE and business transfers
  • \n
  • Employment Tribunal claims
  • \n
  • Unfair dismissal, discrimination and whistleblowing matters
  • \n
  • Senior executive exits
  • \n
  • HR and employee relations issues
  • \n
  • Corporate support and transactional employment matters (desirable but not essential)
  • \n
\n

The successful candidate will manage their own caseload whilst working closely with experienced employment specialists on complex matters.

Requirements

\n
    \n
  • Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive
  • \n
  • 3-5 years PQE in Employment Law
  • \n
  • Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
  • \n
  • Strong technical knowledge of employment legislation and case law
  • \n
  • Excellent client relationship and business development skills
  • \n
  • Strong drafting, communication and negotiation abilities
  • \n
  • Transactional employment experience would be advantageous but is not essential
  • \n
  • Ability to manage a varied caseload independently
  • \n
