We're working with a growing Financial Services business looking for a commercially-minded Senior Finance Analyst who can do more than report the numbers. They want someone who can spot trends, identify what's driving performance, and turn complex financial data into a narrative that influences business decisions. This is a highly visible role with regular exposure to senior leadership, giving you the opportunity to make a genuine impact across the organisation. What You'll Be Doing \n

\n
• Building and enhancing financial models that support strategic decision-making
\n
• Analysing large, complex datasets to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
\n
• Turning financial performance into clear, meaningful insights for stakeholders
\n
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and business planning processes
\n
• Partnering with teams across the business to understand performance drivers
\n
• Helping leaders answer not just "what happened?" but "why did it happen?" and "what happens next?"
\n
• Driving improvements in reporting, analysis and business intelligence
\n

What We're Looking For \n

\n
• Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or a strong finalist
\n
• Financial Services experience is essential
\n
• Advanced Excel skills with strong financial modelling capability
\n
• Experience working with large datasets and complex analysis
\n
• Ability to simplify complex information and communicate it effectively
\n
• Strong stakeholder management and emotional intelligence
\n
• Naturally curious, commercial and proactive in your approach
\n

Nice to Have:\n

• VBA experience
\n
• Database creation, querying or data extraction experience
\n
• SQL or similar analytical tools
\n
