Interim Accountant

Interim Accountant - £375 per day - 3 month contract - 1 day in office - Reading

I am currently recruiting for an interim Accountant for my client based in Reading.This is a unique role that requires someone to have a telecoms/SAAS background.

Key Duties:

• Financial reconciliation - Management of the reconciliation between our live management model (MAs) and the statutory accounts, covering all audit adjustments posted from FY23 through FY25.
\n
• Revenue recognition - Review and recognition of Professional Services (non-recurring revenue) on a percentage-of-completion basis, ensuring alignment with GAAP.
\n
• SAP contract clean-up - Assist with cleansing SAP records for contracts that were erroneously discounted rather than cancelled, which has resulted in a significant volume of "unbilled" invoices requiring resolution.
\n
• Network Services reconciliation - Work with the business to reconcile actual invoiced charges against amounts recognised within our telephony billing platform and post the necessary adjustments to arrive at the correct balance.

• Billing automation and AI - Provide short-term support to the billing team, including automation of charges and exploring the adoption of AI to streamline routine billing activities.
