Graduate / Post-Completions Clerk (Conveyancing)Salary: £23,500 per annumJob type: Full-time, permanent An established Cardiff law firm is looking for a highly organised and proactive Graduate / Post-Completions Clerk to join its busy Conveyancing Department. This is a great opportunity for a graduate or someone looking to begin a career within the legal sector. Previous legal experience is not essential, as full training will be provided. The role You will support the Conveyancing team and ensure all post-completion processes are finalised accurately and within the required timescales.Your responsibilities will include:\n

  • Monitoring the completions diary for all fee earners and making entries when required
  • \n
  • Submitting Stamp Duty and Welsh Revenue Authority returns within the relevant timescales
  • \n
  • Diarising OS1 expiry dates
  • \n
  • Preparing and submitting Land Registry applications within OS1 and OS2 priority periods
  • \n
  • Dealing with Land Registry requisitions within the required timeframes
  • \n
  • Applying to the Land Registry for extensions of time when necessary
  • \n
  • Liaising with other law firms, lenders and management companies
  • \n
  • Sending completed titles to clients and lenders
  • \n
  • Updating the LMS and Lender Exchange portals
  • \n
  • Uploading OS1s, e-AP1s and registered titles
  • \n
  • Taking calls and responding to emails from clients, lenders and the Land Registry
  • \n
  • Managing and organising legal case files
  • \n
  • Drafting, reviewing and proofreading documents and correspondence
  • \n
  • Ensuring all administrative work complies with legal and regulatory requirements
  • \n
