Hybrid Working | 3 Days Office / 2 Days Home | Clear ProgressionA leading and growing accountancy practice is looking to recruit an ACA or ACCA qualified Audit Senior to join its expanding Audit team.This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Audit Senior looking for greater responsibility, strong client exposure and a clear route towards Assistant Manager and Manager level.The firm is continuing to grow and invest in its people, offering wider career opportunities, access to specialist teams and clearly mapped progression routes.The RoleAs Audit Senior, you will take responsibility for leading audit assignments across a varied client portfolio, working closely with Managers and Partners while supervising junior members of the team.You will be involved throughout the audit process, from planning and fieldwork through to completion and review.Key responsibilities include:\n

- Leading audit assignments from planning through to completion \n
- Arranging and leading audit planning meetings \n
- Managing audit fieldwork and workflow across assignments \n
- Preparing and delegating key areas of audit work \n
- Supervising Audit Semi Seniors and Assistants \n
- Reviewing junior team members' work \n
- Preparing audit completion sections, including Going Concern and Key Audit Findings Reports \n
- Identifying and researching technical or higher-risk audit matters \n
- Escalating complex issues to Managers and senior colleagues where appropriate \n
- Clearing Manager and RI review points \n
- Monitoring progress against budgets and deadlines \n
- Maintaining high standards of audit quality and compliance \n
- Supporting billing and assignment administration \n
- Working closely with Managers, Partners and other specialist teams \n

- Managing day-to-day communication with clients \n
- Building relationships with key client contacts \n
- Maintaining communication outside the immediate audit cycle \n
- Attending audit review and completion meetings \n
- Coordinating stocktakes where required \n
- Ensuring AML, KYC and engagement documentation is maintained \n
- Responding to client queries and keeping stakeholders updated throughout assignments \n

- ACA or ACCA qualification \n
- Strong external audit experience \n
- Experience leading audit assignments \n
- Exposure to the full audit process from planning through to completion \n
- Experience supervising or supporting junior staff \n
- Good technical audit and accounting knowledge \n
- Strong client communication skills \n
- The ability to manage multiple assignments and deadlines \n
