The Opportunity
\n\nA global, high-growth organisation is expanding its footprint across Europe and looking to hire a Tax Manager to help shape how that growth is managed from a tax perspective. This is a genuinely broad, multi-disciplinary role sitting at the heart of the EMEA tax function, spanning European direct tax, US GAAP reporting, transfer pricing, Pillar Two and UK tax governance.

\n\n\nThe Role of the EMEA Tax Manager
\n\nReporting into senior finance leadership, you'll take ownership of a portfolio of European markets, working closely with local finance teams and external advisers to keep compliance sharp and processes running smoothly.
\n\nKey Responsibilities:

- Manage the full direct tax cycle for the EMEA markets including corporate income tax return preparation with local external advisers \n
- Preparing and submitting US tax reporting (GAAP) including quarterly current and deferred tax provisions using TaxStream technology \n
- Managing UK-specific requirements including Senior Accounting Officer (SAO), Tax Strategy publication and Corporate Criminal \n
- Offence (CCO) Advising finance and business stakeholders on tax matters and building trusted relationships \n
- Contributing to the COE's strategy around standardisation, automation, and continuous improvement \n
- Monitoring developments across your markets, analysing their impact, and proactively communicating what matters to the people who need to know. \n
Skills & Experience Required

- Fluent in English. Additional European languages are a bonus, but not a requirement \n
- Be a qualified accountant and/or chartered tax adviser (CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent) \n
- Solid grounding in tax accounting, tax provisioning and statutory audit support \n
- Experience managing external advisers is ideal \n
- Confidence reviewing and signing off compliance deliverables \n
- The ability to translate complex tax issues into clear, practical guidance for non-tax stakeholders \n
- A genuine interest in tax technology, process improvement and automation \n
- Strong personal organisation, ownership and the ability to juggle multiple markets and deadlines with ease \n
- Be organised, ownership-driven, and comfortable managing multiple markets and deadlines simultaneously \n
