Management Accountant

Management Accountant – Lincolnshire – Up to £55,000 Chase & Holland are proud to be working with a fast-growing, family-run business in Lincoln to recruit a Management Accountant to join their expanding finance team. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified CIMA/ACCA accountant or experienced part-qualified/finalist to take on a varied role within a fast-paced manufacturing and distribution environment. Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will play a key role in supporting financial performance, improving processes and providing meaningful insight to support business growth.The Role:\n

• Preparing monthly management accounts, including P&L, balance sheet and cash flow
\n
• Supporting annual budgeting and forecasting
\n
• Providing variance analysis and financial insight to support decision-making
\n
• Analysing and managing costs, identifying opportunities for improved efficiency and profitability
\n
• Monitoring inventory levels and ensuring accurate stock valuation/reporting
\n
• Managing month-end processes, including accruals, prepayments and reconciliations
\n
• Supporting strong financial controls and compliance
\n
• Assisting with VAT returns and other financial requirements
\n
• Supporting improvements to financial systems and processes
\n
• Working collaboratively with stakeholders across the wider business
\n

You'll ideally have:\n

\n
• CIMA/ACCA qualification or be at a later stage of your studies
\n
• Strong stock/inventory management experience
\n
• Experience within a manufacturing or distribution environment would be advantageous
\n
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
\n
• The ability to manage multiple priorities within a fast-paced SME environment
\n
• A proactive approach and willingness to contribute to process improvements
\n
