Why this role is different This is a role for commercial gas engineers who want to settle in and build something, not hop between short-term jobs. * Planned work with realistic schedules * Trusted to manage your day once on site * No micromanagement, no unnecessary pressure * A business that hires ahead of demand, not after people burn out What you’ll be doing * Planned and reactive commercial gas maintenance across client sites * Fault finding, repairs, and minor installation works * Working to a realistic, pre-planned schedule * Completing work safely and in line with Gas Safe and industry regulations What you’ll need * Relevant commercial gas qualifications (e.g. COCN1 / CODNCO1 / TPCP1 / ICPN1 or equivalent) * Experience in a commercial or maintenance environment * Full UK driving licence * Willingness to undertake an enhanced DBS check What you’ll get * Salary up to £45,000, depending on experience * Realistic earnings nearer £53,000 when door-to-door travel time is included * Company van + fuel card (AC, cruise control, parking sensors) * Overtime available (never forced) Why Sherwoods?
