Area Manager - Alternative Provision

Location: London & Essex (Multi-Site)

Salary: £40,000-£45,000

Contract: Permanent | Full Time | Term Time Only

Hours: Monday-Friday | 8:30am-4:00pm

New Chapter Tuition is recruiting exclusively for an experienced Area Manager to support a growing specialist Alternative Provision across London and Essex.

This is a fully on-site, multi-site leadership role combining education, operations, safeguarding and people management. You'll work across locations throughout London and Essex, independently managing your diary and adapting priorities when required.

QTS is not required. However, you must have previous education experience, including educational delivery and communication with Local Authorities, schools and/or multi-disciplinary teams.

Management experience can come from another sector, including previous experience as a Team Leader, Shift Manager, Assistant Manager or Manager within hospitality, leisure, retail, education or another multi-site environment.

• Lead and support multiple Alternative Provision locations.

• Drive standards across education, safeguarding and operations.
\n
• Coach and develop General Managers and Instructors.
\n
• Build proactive systems around attendance, communication and performance.
\n
• Maintain relationships with Local Authorities, schools, families and professionals.
\n
• Conduct lesson observations and monitor learner outcomes.
\n
• Manage your own diary and travel between locations.
\n
• Adapt priorities and provide hands-on support where required.
\n

You'll be a forward-thinking, proactive leader with education and management experience, strong safeguarding knowledge and excellent communication skills. You'll be organised, adaptable and confident working autonomously.

A full UK driving licence is essential.
