\nYour key responsibilities \n
\n
\nAs an Assistant Director within our ODD team, you’d assist in aspects of business origination, including pitches and presentations to potential clients to help sell work, and leading project delivery working with senior client stakeholders within tight timeframes for some of EY’s most demanding clients. As a consultant you’ll advise clients across all sectors, supporting key decision makers in developing and executing strategies for value creation.\n

\nYou would also be expected to contribute to our practice development initiatives, supporting the continued focus on our team as a great place to work.\n

\nSkills and attributes for success \n
\n
\n \n
\n
\nIndustry and functional experience: engineering, supply chain or graduate scheme experience at a large corporate\n
\n
\nConsulting experience: be familiar working in a large-scale consulting environment or industry role where you can demonstrate the ability to perform and summarise analysis into management insights and recommended actions at pace\n
\n
\nFlexibility: be flexible to support on broader Operational and IT work\n
\n
\nRole model: act as a role model and support development of junior team members, coupled with the recruitment and training responsibilities\n
\n
\nTo qualify for the role you must have\n
\n
\nProfessional services / consulting;\n
\n
\nTransactions: ideally due diligence, carve-out or integrations experience; or\n
\n
\nDeep understanding of one or more core operational functions\n
\n
\nStrong analytical skills, with the ability to link operational analysis to financial statements, and understand the implications of findings to client strategy\n
\n
\n Ideally, you’ll also have\n
\n
\nExperience in building strong working relationships with senior clients, including influence, advice and support to key decision makers\n
\n
\nExperience in supporting sales and business development processes for professional services projects in a large-scale consulting environment\n
\n
\nA track record of successful project delivery in corporate businesses where you are responsible for managing project team members and vendors\n
\n
\nStrong written and verbal communication skills and experience of producing and reviewing high-quality reports, papers, presentations and thought leadership\n
\n
