\nJob Summary
\nWe're looking for a passionate and dedicated BEMS Technician to join our client's team on a prestigious high-end critical site in the City of London. In this role, you'll be responsible for monitoring, operating and optimising Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS), ensuring critical building infrastructure performs efficiently while maintaining strict environmental conditions.

\nKey Responsibilities

- Monitor, operate and optimise Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) to ensure environmental conditions consistently meet client requirements. \n
- Identify, investigate and resolve BMS alarms, escalating issues where appropriate. \n
- Analyse graphical data, trends and alarms to diagnose plant faults and system inefficiencies. \n
- Produce monthly equipment reliability reports and trend analysis. \n
- Carry out predictive failure analysis on critical plant and equipment. \n
- Monitor energy consumption and environmental conditions including temperature, humidity and CO2 levels. \n
- Recommend and implement energy-saving initiatives and plant optimisation strategies. \n
- Support the maintenance and performance of mechanical and electrical building services equipment. \n
- Work closely with engineering teams to ensure the reliability of critical infrastructure. \n

Requirements
\n- \n
- Formal training or qualification in Electrical, Mechanical, HVAC, Chiller or BMS Control Systems. \n
- CNET accreditation or equivalent (CDCTP, CDCMP or CDCSP) is desirable. \n
- Experience operating Building Management Systems at senior engineer access level. \n
- Experience with BMS platforms such as Sauter, Distech, Trend, Siemens, Honeywell or Carel. \n
- Experience with lighting control systems. \n
- Good understanding of network infrastructure and IT systems. \n
- Previous experience within a data centre or other critical environment. \n
- Strong understanding of energy management principles and low-carbon building operation. \n
- Excellent knowledge of Building Management Systems, including diagnostics, monitoring and alarm interpretation. \n
- Experience maintaining mechanical and electrical building services equipment. \n
- Right to work in the UK. \n
