Pay Rate:£13.06 - £13.59
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp to Perm
Shift: 8am-5pm - Monday-Friday

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Goods In Forklift Driver to join a busy warehouse operation based in Wellingborough. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with Counterbalance and Reach Truck experience who enjoys working in a fast-paced warehouse environment and is looking for a long-term opportunity.

The Role\n

As a Goods In Forklift Driver, you will play a key role in ensuring all incoming deliveries are received, checked and stored accurately. You'll be responsible for operating forklift trucks safely, unloading deliveries, inspecting stock, and supporting the smooth day-to-day running of the warehouse.

Key Responsibilities\n
    \n
  • Safely operate Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts.
    • \n
  • Unload incoming deliveries from vehicles and containers using MHE or by hand where required.
    • \n
  • Handball loose cartons when necessary.
    • \n
  • Check deliveries against delivery notes and purchase orders.
    • \n
  • Inspect incoming goods for damage, shortages or discrepancies.
    • \n
  • Store stock safely in designated warehouse locations.
    • \n
  • Ensure all products are labelled and stored correctly.
    • \n
  • Maintain high housekeeping standards within the goods-in and warehouse areas.
    • \n
  • Follow all Health & Safety procedures and company policies.
    • \n
  • Report damaged goods or delivery issues to the Warehouse Management team.
    • \n
  • Support other warehouse duties as required.
    • \n
What We're Looking For\n
    \n
  • Valid Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences.
    • \n
  • PPT experience would be advantageous; training can be provided.
    • \n
  • Previous Goods In or warehouse experience.
    • \n
  • Good understanding of warehouse Health & Safety procedures.
    • \n
  • Experience using handheld scanners or Warehouse Management Systems is beneficial.
    • \n
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
    • \n
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
    • \n
  • Reliable, punctual and safety-conscious.
    • \n
  • Physically fit and comfortable lifting and moving stock safely.
    • \n
  • Able to work on your feet for extended periods.
    • \n
  • Comfortable working in varying warehouse temperatures.
    • \n
