Family Solicitor/Legal Executive – Exeter

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Family Solicitor or Legal Executive to join a highly regarded and growing law firm in Exeter, Devon.

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious Family Lawyer looking for their next career move, with the opportunity to join the team at Senior Associate or Partnership level, depending on experience.

The Family Lawyer role

You will take responsibility for a varied privately funded family law caseload, acting for a broad range of clients across a range of family matters.

Your experience is likely to include:

• Divorce and separation
\n
• Matrimonial finance and financial remedy matters
\n
• High-value and complex financial cases
\n
• Pre-nuptial and post-nuptial agreements
\n
• Privately funded family work
\n
• Managing your own caseload and client relationships
\n

You’ll also benefit from dedicated marketing support, as well as the wider resources of an established legal team, helping you to develop your profile and build your practice.

What are we looking for?

We’re keen to hear from experienced Family Solicitors, Family Lawyers and Legal Executives who are looking for a long-term career opportunity in Exeter.

You should have:

• Qualification as a Solicitor or Legal Executive
\n
• Ideally 4+ years' PQE in family law
\n
• Strong experience across privately funded family matters
\n
• Experience handling matrimonial finance and/or complex financial remedy work
\n
• Excellent client care and communication skills
\n
• A commercially minded approach and an interest in developing your career
\n
