NJR Recruitment are delighted to be working with a well-established Financial Planning firm who are looking to recruit an Financial Planning Administrator to join their friendly and relaxed team based in Chester-le-Street.

\n

\n

This is a great opportunity for an experienced administrator who is looking to develop their career within Financial Services. Previous Financial Services experience isn't essential — the key requirement is strong administration experience, excellent organisation and a professional, personable approach.

\n

\n

You will work closely with and provide dedicated support to one Financial Adviser, gaining valuable exposure to the Financial Planning industry and developing your knowledge over time.

\n

\n

The Role

\n

Your responsibilities will include:

\n
    \n
  • Providing day-to-day administrative support to the Financial Adviser
  • \n
  • Maintaining accurate client records and documentation
  • \n
  • Preparing and processing client paperwork
  • \n
  • Liaising with clients, providers and other third parties
  • \n
  • Assisting with client reviews and ongoing servicing
  • \n
  • Managing correspondence, emails and general administration
  • \n
  • Updating internal systems and maintaining accurate records
  • \n
  • Supporting the wider office team where required
  • \n
  • Ensuring work is completed accurately and within agreed timescales
  • \n

About You

\n

The firm is open to candidates from a range of backgrounds, so Financial Services experience isn't essential.

\n

We're looking for someone who has:

  • Previous experience in an administrative role
  • \n
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail
  • \n
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • \n
  • A friendly and professional approach to dealing with clients
  • \n
  • The ability to manage your own workload and prioritise effectively
  • \n
  • Good IT skills and confidence using Microsoft Office
  • \n
  • A genuine interest in developing a career within Financial Planning
  • \n
