Field Service Technician

Our client is looking for a skilled and motivated Field Service Technician to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Field Service Technician who enjoys working in a hands on role, travelling to customer sites, and delivering exceptional service. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing equipment, helping customers achieve maximum performance and reliability from their systems.

Offering £32,000 to £34,000 per annum, overtime available, although not guaranteed.

Duties:

• Install and commission equipment at customer sites.
\n
• Carry out routine servicing and preventative maintenance.
\n
• Diagnose faults and identify effective repair solutions.
\n
• Repair or replace defective components using appropriate tools and equipment.
\n
• Complete service reports, maintenance records and parts requisition forms accurately.
\n
• Provide customers with guidance on equipment operation and basic fault finding.
\n
• Maintain high standards of health and safety while working on site.
\n
• Ensure all work is completed professionally and to company standards.
\n

Experience:

\n
• Experience in a Field Service Technician role or similar.
\n
• Proven experience working with mechanical systems and equipment repairs.
\n
• Confident using hand tools and workshop equipment.
\n
• Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record.
\n
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manuals.
\n
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
\n
• Self motivated, organised and capable of working independently.
\n
• Physically fit and able to lift up to 50lbs.
\n
• Comfortable working across a variety of commercial environments.
\n
