Employment Solicitor

A respected and UK leading law firm based in London is looking for an commercially minded Employment Solicitor to join their growing employment practice.

The role will involve advising employer and employee clients, senior executives and employees on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment law matters, whilst also supporting the firm's Corporate and Commercial teams on mergers, acquisitions, investments and other transactional work.

The successful candidate will

• Manage their own caseload, support partners on complex matters, contribute to business development initiatives and deliver commercially focused legal advice in line with the firm's standards and values.
\n
• This will suit a 2-6 PQE solicitor seeking exposure to high-quality clients, corporate transactions and day-to-day employment advisory work within a collaborative, diverse and entrepreneurial law firm.
\n
• Working with the firm’s partners and external consultant to build an employment team
\n
• Advising employer clients on day-to-day HR and employment law issues.
\n

Requirements

\n
• 2-6 years PQE, although candidates with experience outside these parameters may be considered.
\n
• Strong drafting and analytical skills.
\n
• Experience gained within a recognised employment law team
\n
• Employment due diligence (desirable)
\n
• Excellent client care and communication skills
\n
• Some exposure to corporate support work, M&A transactions, TUPE or employment due diligence is essential, including due diligence reporting
\n
