Senior Engineer

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Engineer to join a major civils project in Hemel Hempstead, working on a significant bulk earthworks package. This is an excellent short-term opportunity for a Senior Engineer with strong earthworks experience, offering 3 months of work with an immediate start. The Role * Managing and overseeing engineering activities across the bulk earthworks package * Setting out and surveying earthworks operations * Checking levels, line and grade * Reviewing and interpreting construction drawings and specifications * Working closely with the Site Agent, Sub Agents and project delivery team * Monitoring quality, progress and productivity * Providing technical support and resolving engineering queries on site * Maintaining accurate site records and ensuring works are delivered to specification * Supporting the wider project team with day-to-day engineering requirements Requirements * Proven experience as a Senior Engineer within civil engineering * Strong bulk earthworks experience * Previous experience on major civils, infrastructure or highways projects preferred * Strong setting out and surveying skills * Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings * Good understanding of earthworks specifications and construction methodology * Relevant CSCS / engineering qualifications * Excellent communication and organisational skills * Able to work effectively within a busy site environment If you are an experienced Senior Engineer with a strong bulk earthworks background and are available for an immediate start, please apply with your up-to-date CV for immediate consideration
