Site Engineer – Heathrow Airport (Inside IR35) Site Engineer 📍 Heathrow Airport, London The Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Site Engineer to join a major infrastructure programme at Heathrow Airport. Working as part of a high-performing delivery team, you will play a key role in the successful delivery of civil engineering and construction works within a live airport environment. This is an excellent opportunity for a Site Engineer with experience in major infrastructure, aviation, rail, highways, or complex civil engineering projects. Key Responsibilities Setting out and surveying works in accordance with project requirements. Ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to specification. Producing and maintaining accurate site records and as-built information. Supporting subcontractors and site teams with technical guidance. Reviewing drawings, specifications, and construction documentation. Managing quality assurance processes, inspections, and testing. Assisting with temporary works coordination and permits. Liaising with project managers, planners, designers, and stakeholders. Ensuring compliance with Heathrow Airport standards and procedures. Requirements Previous experience as a Site Engineer on major infrastructure or civil engineering projects. Strong setting out experience using Leica, Trimble, or similar equipment. Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications. Experience with QA documentation, ITPs, and site reporting. CSCS Card (essential). SMSTS or SSSTS desirable. Heathrow Airport experience advantageous but not essential. Background in aviation, rail, highways, utilities, or major projects preferred. What's on Offer Long-term contract opportunity.
