EQD Front Office Application Support (SQL/ Linux/ Python)

We are seeking a proactive and technically strong EQD Application Support Engineer (multiple headcounts) to support applications within an Equities Derivatives trading environment. The role focuses on maintaining system stability, resolving production issues, and supporting business-critical trading platforms.

What you'll do:

\n
• Provide L2/L3 application support within an EQD trading environment
\n
• Investigate and resolve production incidents (P1/P2) impacting trading systems
\n
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) and implement preventative improvements
\n
• Monitor systems proactively and address issues before business impact
\n
• Work closely with traders, developers, and infrastructure teams
\n
• Support releases, deployments, and BAU activities
\n

What you'll bring:

\n
• Strong Linux/Unix command line skills (processes, logs, troubleshooting)
\n
• Hands-on scripting experience (Python and/or Bash) is essential
\n
• Strong SQL skills (querying, data analysis, troubleshooting)
\n
• Proven experience in application / production support
\n
• Knowledge of Equities / Equities Derivatives (EQD) products
\n
• Experience in trading systems or front-office environments
\n
• Rights to work in the UK is essential
