Senior Bid Writer

Our client is a growing technical and engineering business with an expanding portfolio of high-value projects, frameworks and client opportunities.They are looking to appoint an experienced Senior Bid Writer to join the team and take ownership of a varied pipeline of bids and tender submissions.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a technical environment, has strong commercial awareness and wants to play a key role in helping a growing business secure new work.The Role Youll be responsible for managing and producing high-quality bids from initial opportunity through to final submission, working closely with technical, commercial and operational teams across the business.Your responsibilities will include:Managing bids and tender submissions from start to finishWriting, editing and coordinating high-quality bid responsesWorking with technical specialists and subject matter experts to gather relevant informationReviewing tender and framework requirements and developing effective response strategiesTurning complex technical information into clear, compelling and persuasive contentCoordinating contributions from multiple teams and managing submission deadlinesEnsuring bids are accurate, compliant and commercially focusedSupporting a range of clients, projects and framework opportunitiesDeveloping and improving bid processes, templates and best practiceWorking closely with senior stakeholders to support wider business development activityAbout You Were looking for an experienced Bid Writer, Senior Bid Writer, Bid Manager or Tender Specialist who is confident managing complex submissions and working independently.Youll ideally have experience in:Bid writing and/or bid managementFramework and tender submissionsWorking within a technical, engineering, construction, infrastructure or consultancy environmentWorking with technical subject matter expertsManaging multiple bids and deadlines simultaneouslyProducing clear, persuasive and commercially focused written contentYoull be highly organised, commercially aware and an excellent communicator, with the ability to build strong relationships across a business and get the best information from technical teams.What's On Offer?up to £65,000 salary, depending on experiencePredominantly home-based / remote workingInfrequent travel to the companys officeOccasional travel to clients and other company locationsThe opportunity to work on high-value bids and major frameworksA varied role with plenty of autonomy and responsibilityThe opportunity to become a key part of the business as it continues to growThe chance to have a direct impact on securing new business and shaping the future of the bid functionIf youre an experienced bid professional looking for a role where you can really make an impact, wed love to hear from you.Everlinked are an equal employment agency.TPBN1_UKTJ
