In your role, you will work closely with the Contract Management Lead and Programme Management Office (PMO) Manager and be responsible for managing major contracts.You will be at the heart of the Contract Management team and will be expected to demonstrate commercial leadership, pace, rigour, and drive delivery in contract performance. Further, you will engage closely with Outage Management, Engineering, Procurement and Quality Assurance teams driving performance, developing relationships with suppliers, and identifying commercial opportunities and service improvements.There is a real opportunity to take ownership of these agreements and to deliver exceptional service to our internal and external customers.Applicants should be able to demonstrate of the following skills/experience:HNC or equivalent in a business or commercial disciplineStrong experience of MSA's and NEC Contract Management preferableSubstantial contract negotiation experienceExperience in working with a main contractorExperience in financial control including cost control and other processes would be beneficialAbility to deliver information and influence internal & external stakeholders at all levelsExcellent communication skillsHave exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skillsStrong MS office skills, ability to work to deadlines and highly organisedSAP and CEMAR experience preferred but not essentialRole information:Managing the performance of key contractors in accordance with the relevant contract requirements and business operational needs, to ensure best value and services from suppliers are achieved in terms of cost, quality, and productivityBuilding relationships with key stakeholders and communicating relevant contractual information as requiredIdentifying and implementing opportunities and improvements for commercial efficiencies across operational activities and contractsLeading on contract negotiationsProviding contract-related issue resolution to supplier disputes or escalationsEnsuring that all processes followed are in line with legislation and company policiesCompleting contract close-out, reviewing contracts for extension or renewal, and assisting procurement teams where applicable for re-procurementInterested in this position? please click 'apply now'We try to respond to all applicants, but sometimes this is not possible due to high volumes of applications; if you have not heard from us within 14 days, regrettably it means you have been unsuccessful on this occasion.This vacancy is being advertised by Rullion Ltd acting as an employment business Since 1978, Rullion has been securing exceptional candidates for a range of clients; from large well-known brands, to SMEs and start-ups.
