Hours: Monday to Thursday, 7:00am 4:00pm, Friday 7:00am 12:00 noon

We're looking for a Quality Auditor to join our Quality team, helping us ensure every garment leaving our factory meets the exceptional standards our customers expect.

What You'll Be Doing\nAs a Quality Auditor, you'll play a vital role in protecting the quality of our luxury knitwear throughout the manufacturing process.
\nYou'll:
\n- \n
- Measure garments against technical specifications to ensure they are within tolerance. \n
- Identify and stop non-conforming products from progressing through production. \n
- Carry out quality audits across manufacturing processes, ensuring compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs). \n
- Identify trends, risks and opportunities for improvement. \n
- Work alongside production colleagues as a supportive \"critical friend\", helping embed best practice across the factory. \n
- Coach and support colleagues to build knowledge and ownership of quality standards. \n
- Record audit findings accurately and provide clear, constructive feedback. \n
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and our journey towards ISO 9001 accreditation. \n
- Help maintain the exceptional quality standards that define the John Smedley brand. \n
You'll enjoy this role if you're someone who notices the small details that others might miss and enjoys working collaboratively to achieve high standards.
\nWe're looking for someone who:
\n- \n
- Has experience within a quality, production, manufacturing or garment inspection environment. \n
- Has excellent attention to detail and enjoys measuring, checking and inspecting products. \n
- Is confident making decisions and taking appropriate action when products do not meet specification. \n
- Has good communication skills and enjoys supporting and coaching colleagues. \n
- Is organised, methodical and able to prioritise work effectively. \n
- Is comfortable using Microsoft Office and learning new systems. \n
- Takes pride in producing work of the highest quality and continually looks for ways to improve. \n
Experience within textiles or garment manufacturing would be advantageous but isn't essential if you have relevant quality inspection experience.
