\n Caterpillar is recruiting qualified Electricians to join its manufacturing facility in Larne, supporting the assembly and wiring of generator sets, enclosures and associated power generation equipment.
\n This is an opportunity to join a global engineering manufacturer, working within a skilled production environment on a four-day working week with competitive rates of pay and overtime available.
Pay:
\n Day Shift: £17.95 per hour
\n Night Shift: £23.93 per hour
\n Overtime (first 10 hours): £26.93 per hour
\n Overtime (after 10 hours): £35.90 per hour
\n Hours
\n 37.5 hours per week (Monday - Thursday)
Days:
\n Monday: 07:00 - 17:15
\n Tuesday - Thursday: 07:00 - 16:45
Nights:
\n Monday: 21:00 - 07:15
\n Tuesday - Thursday: 21:00 - 06:45
\n Candidates must be flexible to work both day and night shifts.
Responsibilities:

\n
• Read and interpret electrical schematics and assembly drawings
\n
• Wire and install electrical systems on generator sets and enclosures
\n
• Carry out electrical terminations and panel connections
\n
• Install cable trays, ladder racks and conduit systems
\n
• Route and terminate cables using appropriate crimping techniques
\n
• Use a range of hand tools, power tools and electrical equipment
\n
• Report equipment faults where identified
\n
• Work to Caterpillars quality, safety and 5S standards
\n

Essential Requirements:

\n
• Completed electrical apprenticeship, NVQ Level 3 or equivalent qualification
\n
• Experience in electrical wiring, installation and terminations
\n
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics
\n
• High attention to detail and commitment to quality
\n
• Willingness to work overtime and rotating shifts
\n

Desirable:

\n
• Experience within a manufacturing or lean environment
\n
• Experience working to defined production times
\n
• Ability to work at height and within enclosed work areas
\n
• Basic computer literacy
\n
