Job Title : Stock Condition SurveyorLocation: Swansea Contract: Temporary - 3 Months Hourly Rate: £23 - £30.08 an hourHours: Full Time BRC are currently recruiting for an experienced Stock Condition Surveyor to join a busy housing provider on an initial 3-month temporary contract in Swansea. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced surveyor to support a programme of stock condition surveys, ensuring accurate property data is captured to inform future investment and maintenance programmes.Responsibilities\n

\n
• Carry out stock condition surveys across a portfolio of residential properties.
\n
• Assess the condition of internal and external building components, including kitchens, bathrooms, roofs, windows, doors and communal areas.
\n
• Identify defects, repair requirements and potential health and safety concerns.
\n
• Record accurate survey data using handheld devices and asset management systems.
\n
• Produce clear, detailed survey reports and recommendations.
\n
• Liaise professionally with tenants and internal teams while arranging and undertaking property inspections.
\n
• Support the delivery of accurate asset data to inform planned maintenance programmes.
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Previous experience carrying out Stock Condition Surveys within social housing or residential property.
\n
• Good knowledge of building construction, property defects and lifecycle replacement planning.
\n
• Experience using mobile technology and asset management systems.
\n
• Understanding of HHSRS and housing compliance requirements.
\n
• Full UK Driving Licence and access to a vehicle.
\n
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
\n
