Project Quantity Surveyor – High-End ResidentialLocation: Farnham, SurreySalary: Up to £65,000 per annum, dependent on experience, plus packageWorking arrangement: Farnham office, live project sites and up to two days working from home A well-established residential developer and main contractor is looking for an experienced Project Quantity Surveyor to join its growing commercial team in Farnham. This is an excellent opportunity to take full commercial responsibility for prestigious, high-specification residential projects for private clients. - Managing project budgets, forecasts and cost plans \n
- Procuring subcontractor and supplier packages \n
- Preparing and assessing valuations, variations and payments \n
- Producing accurate monthly cost reports \n
- Monitoring project expenditure and commercial risk \n
- Managing subcontractor accounts and negotiations \n
- Supporting contractual and commercial decision-making \n
- Liaising confidently with clients and project stakeholders \n
- Driving projects through to final account \n
- Ensuring strong commercial performance across your portfolio \n

- At least five years’ Quantity Surveying experience \n
- Experience working for a main contractor, residential developer or specialist residential contractor \n
- A background in high-end, luxury, prime or bespoke residential construction is preferred \n
- Strong procurement, cost-control and commercial-reporting skills \n
- The ability to manage projects independently \n
- Confidence when dealing with clients, subcontractors and senior stakeholders \n
- Excellent negotiation, communication and organisational skills \n
- A relevant Quantity Surveying or construction qualification is desirable \n
