Payroll Specialist

Your new company An experienced Payroll Specialist is required to join a well-established organisation on an urgent 3-month contract to take ownership of the payroll function and resolve several key payroll priorities, including outstanding P11D submissions. Location:Bournemouth/Flexible Hybrid Working Duration: 3 Months Temporary Contract Start Date: Immediate Your new role Manage the monthly payroll for approximately 400+ employees across multiple sites Process all payroll changes, including new starters, leavers, salary amendments and contractual variations Administer holiday pay and other statutory payments Manage auto-enrolment and pension scheme administration Liaise with HMRC and ensure payroll compliance Resolve employee payroll queries in a timely and professional manner Process employee expenses Prepare payroll reports and management information Complete payroll reconciliations and journals Ensure outstanding P11Ds are completed and submitted Identify and address any payroll issues, ensuring an accurate and efficient payroll function What you'll need to succeed Proven end-to-end payroll experience Strong knowledge of UK payroll legislation and HMRC requirements Experience with pensions, auto-enrolment and statutory payments Previous P11D experience is essential Able to work independently and quickly assess priorities Available to start immediately or at short notice What you'll get in return Full-time or part-time hours considered Remote working is available with flexibility needed on the final day of payroll £23 - £26 per hour What you need to do now If you're interested in this role, click 'apply now' to forward an up-to-date copy of your CV, or call us now.
