This position will suit an engineer with strong electrical fault-finding experience and exposure to building services systems such as HVAC, compressed air systems, boilers, pumps, fire protection equipment, and BMS controls. You will play a key role in ensuring the safe and efficient operation of site infrastructure while driving continuous improvement and preventative maintenance initiatives.The Package£50,000 per annum20 days annual leave plus bank holidaysChristmas shutdown periodClean and safe working environmentExtensive career development opportunitiesThe ResponsibilitiesEnsure all safety systems and procedures are followed, promoting a proactive safety culture across the siteCarry out electrical fault finding, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs across facilities and utilities equipmentSupport the safe operation and maintenance of critical site services including HVAC systems, compressed air systems, boilers, pumps, BMS controls, and fire protection systemsIdentify and manage reliability risks that could impact operational performanceDevelop and implement predictive and preventative maintenance strategies to maximise equipment uptimeCollaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to improve plant reliability and efficiencySupport reliability-centred maintenance (RCM) and total productive maintenance (TPM) initiativesConduct root cause analysis and support FMECA activities to reduce recurring equipment failuresMonitor equipment performance, analyse trends, and recommend continuous improvement opportunitiesPrepare maintenance reports and technical documentation using CMMS systemsContribute to capital projects and ensure reliability is considered within new installations and upgradesLiaise with contractors and suppliers to ensure work is completed to the highest standardsThe RequirementsStrong commitment to health and safety with the ability to identify and mitigate risksElectrical engineering qualification (HNC/HND, NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds or equivalent)Proven experience within a Facilities Engineer, Building Services Engineer, Electrical Maintenance Engineer, Site Services Engineer or similar roleStrong electrical fault-finding and troubleshooting experience within an industrial, manufacturing, commercial or facilities environmentExperience working on facilities plant and utilities systems such as HVAC, compressed air systems, pumps, boilers, BMS controls, fire protection systems and electrical distribution equipmentAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics, technical drawings and control diagramsKnowledge of mechanical building services and facilities infrastructure would be advantageousExcellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with contractors, suppliers and internal stakeholdersProficiency in Microsoft Office and CMMS systems, with SAP experience highly desirable18th Edition qualification would be advantageousInteraction Recruitment have specialist consultants across the majority of industries within the UK, including but not limited to Finance & IT, Technical & Engineering, Industrial, Commercial and Hospitality.
