Get2Talent is supporting a leading technology consultancy seeking an experienced AWS DevOps Technical Consultant.
\nYoull join a fast-paced Agile delivery team, designing and building secure AWS infrastructure, automated deployment pipelines and shared platform services for high-profile UK Government and Defence projects.
\nThis is a hands-on technical leadership role for someone experienced in building new infrastructurenot solely maintaining existing environments.
Key responsibilities\n- \n
- Design, build and manage secure AWS cloud infrastructure \n
- Create automated CI/CD pipelines \n
- Develop reusable Infrastructure as Code using tools such as Terraform \n
- Build and operate platforms for containerised applications \n
- Support software deployment, monitoring and operational performance \n
- Lead technical delivery throughout the full project lifecycle \n
- Advise customers on AWS architecture and technology choices \n
- Manage senior stakeholder relationships and key project deliverables \n
- Mentor engineers and support junior team members \n
- Promote Agile best practices, including Scrum and Kanban \n
- \n
- Strong commercial AWS experience \n
- Proven experience building new cloud infrastructure \n
- Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code \n
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, automation and containerisation \n
- Experience with technologies such as Terraform, Docker and Kubernetes \n
- Good understanding of AWS security principles and secure deployment practices \n
- Experience delivering within Agile teams \n
- Ability to lead technical solutions and take ownership of delivery \n
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder-management skills \n
- Experience mentoring or supporting other engineers \n
