Position: Employment Solicitor - 2-6 PQE

Salary: £60,000 - £75,000

Location: City of London (Hybrid working, 2 days from home)

A well known Legal 500 multi-office firm is looking for a confident junior Associate (2-6 PQE) to join their Employment team based in central London, not far from Farringdon. The team works on a diverse caseload of employer and employee client matters including litigated and advisory work.

The firm is keen to speak to candidates from a diverse employment background including those currently working in regional firms. The ideal candidate will have strong experience managing a caseload of litigated and advisory matters including representations in tribunals from start to finish. In renumeration they can offer a flexible work/life balance and highly competitive compensation. Key Responsibilities:

• Managing contentious and non-contentious matters, for claimant and respondent clients including but not limited to: employment contracts, updating internal documents, disciplinary, redundancy, settlement agreements, exits, TUPE, and more.
\n
• Assist team Partners on complex employment matters.
\n
• Support the firm's Corporate and Commercial teams on matters arising from mergers, acquisitions, and other transactional work.
\n
• Deliver outstanding client service, with relationship building and a sound understanding of client legal and commercial requirements.
\n
• Conduct advocacy when required.
\n

Skills and Experience:

\n
• UK qualified Solicitor with 2 - 6 years PQE from a reputable London firm.
\n
• A demonstrated track record with good quality employment law matters.
\n
• Strong academic background is preferred.
\n
• Technically strong understanding of contentious and non-contentious employment law.
\n
• A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal development and strong interpersonal skills.
\n
