PSV Technician - Days

The RoleWe are currently recruiting for an experienced PSV Technician / Coach Fitter / Bus Engineer to join an established engineering team based in Hayes.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled commercial vehicle technician to work on a modern fleet of high-specification coaches, carrying out a wide range of mechanical, electrical, diagnostic and preventative maintenance work.Working straight days 7am till 5pm, Monday - Friday - no weekends or rotating shiftsKey Responsibilities\n

• Carry out routine servicing and maintenance of PSV and coach vehicles
\n
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults
\n
• Carry out fault-finding and diagnostic work
\n
• Repair and replace worn or defective components
\n
• Complete preventative maintenance and vehicle inspections
\n
• Carry out pre-MOT inspections and prepare vehicles for testing
\n
• Ensure all vehicles are maintained to a high standard of safety and reliability
\n
• Complete maintenance records and inspection paperwork accurately
\n
• Work to manufacturer specifications and company maintenance procedures
\n
• Support the wider engineering team to ensure maximum vehicle availability
\n
• Maintain high standards of workmanship across all maintenance and repair activities
\n

About YouThe ideal candidate will have:\n

\n
• Previous experience as a PSV Technician, Bus Engineer, Coach Fitter or HGV Technician
\n
• Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge
\n
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills
\n
• A full UK driving licence
\n
• The ability to work independently and as part of a team
\n
• A strong focus on safety, quality and attention to detail
\n
• Good communication and problem-solving skills
\n
