Sparkford, Somerset | £12.71 per hour | Monday-Thursday 7:30am-4:30pm, Friday 7:30am-1:30pm | Full-Time

Acorn by Synergie is recruiting for a Production Operative to join a well-established manufacturing business in Sparkford, Somerset.

The successful candidate will work as part of a busy production team, operating factory machinery and equipment, assembling products using hand and air tools, carrying out quality checks, and preparing finished goods for distribution. • Operate and maintain factory machinery and production equipment.
\n
• Assemble manufactured products using hand and air tools.
\n
• Inspect and test products to ensure they meet required specifications and quality standards.

• Package and label finished goods for internal and external distribution.
\n
• Follow all health and safety procedures and company regulations.
\n
• Work as part of a production team to achieve manufacturing targets and deadlines.
\n
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives designed to improve production efficiency and reduce costs.

• Support the optimisation of manufacturing and production processes.

• Previous experience in a production, manufacturing, factory, or machine operating environment is desirable.
\n
• Experience using machinery, hand tools, air tools, or production equipment is advantageous.
\n
• Strong work ethic with a reliable and conscientious approach.
\n
• Good attention to detail and ability to follow production instructions accurately.
\n
• Effective time management and organisational skills.
\n
• Strong problem-solving ability.
