Job Title: Plumber Multi TraderLocation: Bristol, Cardiff and Oxford Salary: £38,000per annum + Company Van & Fuel Card
Overview\nWe are currently seeking an experienced Plumber Multi Trader to join a well-established reactive maintenance team, carrying out repairs and maintenance within occupied social housing properties across Swindon and the surrounding areas.
\nThis is a mobile role covering Swindon, Salisbury, Gloucester, Witney, Banbury and Bicester, therefore candidates must be comfortable travelling between properties throughout the working day.
Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Carrying out a range of plumbing repairs and maintenance works within occupied residential properties. \n
- Diagnosing and repairing faults on domestic plumbing systems including taps, toilets, showers, sinks, pipework and drainage systems. \n
- Completing plumbing installations and replacements as required. \n
- Undertaking additional multi-trade duties including basic carpentry, tiling, patch plastering and decorating where required. \n
- Diagnosing faults and resolving maintenance issues efficiently and effectively. \n
- Ensuring all work is completed safely, professionally and to a high standard. \n
- Delivering excellent customer service while working within residents' homes. \n
- Managing your own workload and completing jobs within agreed timescales. \n
- Taking ownership of jobs from first visit through to completion. \n

- Deliver excellent customer service at all times. \n
- Complete jobs right first time. \n
- Work professionally and safely. \n
- Communicate effectively with tenants and office-based teams. \n
- Support and mentor other operatives when required. \n

- Demonstrate outstanding reliability and timekeeping. \n
- Use PDA and mobile technology systems correctly. \n

- Take ownership and responsibility for all allocated jobs. \n
Applicants must have:

- Relevant plumbing qualifications (NVQ Level 2 or equivalent). \n
- Proven experience within social housing reactive maintenance. \n
- Strong plumbing experience with the ability to undertake additional multi-trade repairs. \n
- Experience working within occupied properties. \n
- Strong communication and customer service skills. \n
- Ability to work under pressure and manage workloads effectively. \n
- Full UK manual driving licence (no automatic vans available). \n
