Our client is seeking a Application Security Architect to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Define the cloud security framework and architecture, ensuring alignment with business requirements and performance goals.
\n
• Document the implementation of cloud security controls.
\n
• Support the transition to cloud security-managed operations.
\n
• Lead the design and continuous improvement of cloud security strategies in line with evolving business needs and technological advancements.
\n
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate security best practices into cloud infrastructure and application development.
\n
• Analyse emerging security threats and recommend proactive measures to safeguard cloud environments.
\n
• Evaluate and support the adoption of new cloud security tools and technologies to improve operational efficiency and risk management.
\n
• Provide solutions to complex security challenges affecting multiple teams.
\n
• Take responsibility for team decisions and contribute to key decisions across the programme.
\n
• Support and mentor team members by sharing expertise and promoting a culture of security awareness and innovation.
\n
• Manage and collaborate with the team to ensure effective delivery.
\n

Qualifications, Experience & Skills

• Advanced proficiency in Cloud Security Planning.
\n
• Strong experience defining cloud security frameworks and architectures.
\n
• Experience implementing and documenting cloud security controls.
\n
• Experience supporting cloud security-managed operations.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure Security.
\n
• Strong knowledge of Cloud Security Architecture.
\n
• Experience conducting Cloud Security Assessments.
\n
• Knowledge of Managed Cloud Security Services.
\n
• Ability to operate as a subject matter expert.
\n
• Experience collaborating with and influencing multiple cross-functional teams.
\n
• Strong decision-making, problem-solving and team leadership capabilities.
