HR Administrator/Assistant

- Monday to Thursday: 8:00am – 5:00pm \n
- Friday: 8:00am – 3:00pm \n

\nTemporary with an immediate start. There is potential for the role to be made permanent.
\nRole Overview
\n\nThe HR Administrator delivers a range of operational HR activities across the employee lifecycle, ensuring people processes, HR systems, records, and documentation are managed accurately, efficiently, and consistently.
\nKey Responsibilities
\nHR Administration, Systems & Compliance
\n- \n
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records across HR systems and associated files. \n
- Process employee lifecycle changes, absence records, and contractual information accurately and within required timescales. \n
- Support payroll processing, compliance obligations, and management reporting requirements. \n
- Act as a key user of the HR system, identifying opportunities for process improvement. \n
- Ensure full GDPR compliance in the handling and storage of employee information and records. \n
- Complete the annual Fair Employment return for submission to the HR Manager. \n
- Prepare HR data, reports, and metrics for the People & Culture team and management meetings. \n
- Provide administrative support for employee lifecycle and employee relations processes, including arranging meetings, preparing documentation, and taking minutes. \n
Recruitment, Onboarding & Employee Experience

- Coordinate onboarding and induction activities for new employees. \n
- Ensure company induction materials remain accurate and up to date. \n
- Support the offboarding process, ensuring a positive experience for departing employees. \n
- Coordinate and conduct exit interviews when required. \n
- Support employee engagement and retention initiatives through new hire check-ins and quarterly review meetings. \n
- Assist with recruitment administration as required. \n
Employee Lifecycle & Learning Support

- Organise training activities and maintain training records. \n
- Monitor learning completion across the workforce. \n
- Support absence management, probation reviews, performance management, and employee relations processes. \n
- Ensure actions are tracked, coordinated, and followed up promptly with managers and employees. \n
HR Service & Team Support
\n- \n
- Act as a first point of contact for employee and manager HR queries. \n
- Escalate matters to the HR Manager where appropriate. \n
- Provide guidance within policy parameters. \n
- Coordinate the HR Manager's diary and meeting schedule. \n
- Support People & Culture projects and general HR administration. \n
- Publish new and updated policies across relevant business locations. \n
- Produce tailored HR reports as required. \n
- Manage the company uniform ordering process. \n
Person Specification
\nEssential Criteria
\nExperience & Knowledge
\n- \n
- Minimum of one year's experience in a similar HR role within a busy HR department. \n
- Experience using HR systems and Microsoft Office applications. \n
