Support Worker

We are looking for a compassionate, reliable and experienced Female Complex Care Support Worker to provide high-quality care and support to an individual with complex care needs in the Lewes area.

The successful candidate will be confident working with complex clinical and personal care needs and committed to promoting the individual’s dignity, independence, comfort and wellbeing.

The individual has a range of complex needs, including:

• Epilepsy and seizure management
\n
• Autism
\n
• Severe global developmental delay
\n
• Scoliosis
\n
• Nebuliser management
\n
• Medication administration and management
\n
• PEG care and feeding
\n
• Personal care
\n
• Assistance with eating and drinking
\n
• Monitoring and responding appropriately to changes in health and wellbeing
\n

We are looking for someone who is:

\n
• Female
\n
• Experienced in complex care
\n
• Able to demonstrate at least 12 months of UK care experience
\n
• Confident supporting individuals with epilepsy and other complex needs
\n
• Comfortable with PEG care, nebulisers and medication management
\n
• Reliable, punctual and able to commit to the required shifts
\n
• Respectful of dignity, privacy and individual choice
\n
• Able to work independently while following care plans and clinical guidance
\n
• A good communicator with a professional and caring approach
\n

Previous experience with epilepsy, autism, PEG care, nebulisers and severe developmental disabilities is highly desirable.

Monday–Friday: 7:30am – 7:30pm

Saturday–Sunday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
