Production TIG Welder (Stainless) - 4-Day Week, Long Weekends Every Week

- Pay: £17.00-£17.50 per hour (depending on experience) \n
- Location: Eye, Suffolk area (own transport recommended due to rural location) \n
- Hours: 38 hours per week | 7:00am-5:00pm \n
- Working pattern: 4-day week (Monday-Thursday) \n
- Overtime: Time and a Third \n
- Permanent \n

We're recruiting on behalf of a specialist manufacturer of precision-engineered medical equipment, where quality, consistency and attention to detail are critical. \n\nThe role:
\nYou'll be responsible for high-quality TIG welding and fabrication work, producing precision components from CAD drawings and technical specifications. This is a hands-on production role focused on accuracy, finish, and consistent output.
\n\nKey responsibilities:

- TIG welding on stainless steel, mild steel and other materials \n
- Working from CAD drawings, fabrication drawings and job specifications \n
- Producing high-quality, precision components \n
- Maintaining high standards of quality and accuracy \n
- Checking work for finish and dimensional accuracy \n
- Supporting team output and continuous improvement \n

What we're looking for - Essential:
\n- \n
- Strong TIG welding experience, including thin gauge down to 1mm \n
- Experience welding stainless steel (and ideally mild steel) \n
- Able to read and work confidently from CAD/technical drawings \n
- High attention to detail and a quality-first mindset \n
- Reliable, team-focused attitude \n
