Diagnostic Vehicle Technician

We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established multi-franchise dealership in Melton Mowbray, Leicestershire, seeking a skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician. Duties of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:\n

\n
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults
\n
• Carry out servicing, maintenance, and advanced repairs to manufacturer standards
\n
• Complete electronic Vehicle Health Checks (eVHCs)
\n
• Ensure all repairs are carried out safely, accurately, and efficiently
\n
• Maintain accurate workshop documentation
\n
• Support colleagues with technical guidance where required
\n
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment
\n
• Keep technical skills current through ongoing manufacturer training
\n

Requirements of a Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:\n

\n
• NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or equivalent qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
\n
• Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician, Master Technician, or Senior Vehicle Technician
\n
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
\n
• EV qualification advantageous but not essential (training available)
\n
• Minimum two years’ workshop experience
\n
• Full UK driving licence
\n
• A positive attitude and commitment to delivering high-quality work
\n
