Property Claims Handler

An experienced Property Claims handler is required to join a UK Loss Adjusters.

• An experienced Property (Commercial & Domestic including Major & Complex Loss) Claims handler is required to join a UK Loss Adjusters, with offices throughout the UK and a renowned reputation within the industry for providing an exceptional Claims services specialising in Property, Liability, Subsidence and HNW.
\n
• As an experienced Property Claims Handler, you will join an already experienced team working with key Insurer clients managing your own caseload of both commercial and domestic claims.
\n

Key duties:

\n
• Manage your own caseload or property claims – commercial, domestic plus high value complex losses
\n
• Validate and assess liability
\n
• Gather and review evidence, carry out full investigations
\n
• Negotiate settlements working with loss adjusters, contractors, surveyors and all other relevant stakeholders
\n
• Act as a focal and key point of contact
\n
• Work closely with, build and maintain good working relationships with policyholders, insurers, brokers and internal teams across the company
\n

About you:

\n
• A background in handling commercial and domestic property claims including high value, complex losses
\n
• Exceptional communication skills, verbal and written
\n
• Be technical minded with experience of understanding policy wordings, coverage and be able to interpret simply and effectively to policyholders
\n
• Good negotiations skills with an excellent background in customer service
\n
• The ability to manage your own workload, working to deadlines
\n
• Be happy working on a hybrid basis 2-3 days per week working from an office
\n
• Cert CII and /or Cert CILA or working towards
\n

Salary & Benefits:

Salary up to £32,000 plus excellent benefits package
